thank you all so much for your patience as we rescheduled this event. we're so excited to finally bring it to you. featuring owners and managers of some of d.c's favorite queer bookstores, you'll learn about the origins of these essential spaces, favorite memories, and more! featuring fun games, book recs from your favs, and an opportunity for you to ask all your burning questions, we promise a real page-turning experience

hosted at little district’s new location, 631 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. there are a few small steps up to the space where the podcast will be held, but please reach out to us at qtdp@queeringthedistrictpodcast.com if you need any accommodations, and we can make adjustments. there will be ASL interpreters for the duration of the event.

join abby at the friends of dorothy cafe's first panel, "how we survived," as part of their living history: an lgbtq+ intergenerational storytellling series on march 25 at spark social at 7:30 p.m.!

abby will join earline budd, david bissette, alexa rodriguez, and tj flavell to discuss how d.c.'s queer community survived before apps, visible safe spaces, and broader cultural acceptance. they'll explore how people found one another, built resilience through humor and faith (or despite it), navigated risk, and what lessons from those years feel most important for younger generations to carry forward.

tickets are $20 and all funds will go towards startup funds for the friends of dorothy cafe and honorariums for the participating panelists.
